KES hosts several guest speakers...

Students had the opportunity for extended learning from several guest speakers in the past couple of weeks. Officers from Taney County Animal Control visited and taught the students about communicating with dogs and dog safety. Each student received a treat bag that included an informative coloring book and more.

DARE Officer Donathan has been presenting drug abuse resistance education to both third grade classes and visited with grades kindergarten through second about "stranger danger."

Finally, a presentation by an office from the Missouri State Parks taught students about animals that can be observed at state parks, following laws at state parks and staying safe by knowing personal information. The students were given fingerprint ID kits to complete at home with parents.
