Kirbyville receives grant from DNR...

The Kirbyville School District was recently awarded a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to encourage recycling of paper and plastics in the teacher workrooms in both buildings. The $1,138.53 was used to purchase designated recycling bins and trolleys. The PTO also contributed to the cost, as prices had increased during the grant approval process. The new receptacles will more visibly encourage recycling and make proper disposal of the items easier. Collin and Amy Lyerla volunteer to take the recycled items to the recycling center in Branson. The grant was written by Addie Gaines and Amy Lyerla.
