Preschool/PAT move to new temporary locations

As a preliminary step towards building on a new preschool that is attached to the main building, preschool and PAT are moving to temporary locations. Starting Monday, January 26 the preschool will be in what is currently the PAT building. This just represents a move from one side of the preschool playground to the other. Phone contact numbers will remain the same.

Thank-you to all the volunteers who moved the preschool furnishings and materials to the new location on Saturday morning.

The Parents as Teachers (PAT) program will operate out of the elementary building in the current music room. Participants in this program will need to check in at the office and then will be directed to the new location. Parking is in the lot on the east side of the elementary playground. Please refrain from parking in the bus lane or the fire lane at any time. The PAT phone contact information will remain the same at 334-2537.

The music classes will be temporarily located in the current science lab.

The new preschool building will provide safe, comfortable, state-of-the-art facilities for our little guys and gals!

Kirbyville Preschool is moving!!!

We have some good news! Construction will start soon for a new preschool, attached to the elementary building! In order for them to start construction, the trailer we are in now has to be moved. We will be moving to the PAT trailer for the remainder of the school year. (PAT will be moved to the elementary building). On Saturday, January 24th, we plan to move everything from our trailer to the PAT trailer. We are VERY excited about this but we are going to need some help! We need a couple of volunteers to help us pack and take things off the walls on the Thursday or Friday before we move on Saturday. We also need lots of parent volunteers to help us move on Saturday the 24th (sorry preschoolers, this will have to be a parent only move, no children are allowed.) We will start at 8:00 a.m. and are hoping to be done around 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided. Skate Night Coming Up

The Kirbyville monthly Skate Night will be next Monday, January 12 from 6:00-8:00 at Skateworld in Branson. Admission is $3.00 and roller blades are $2.00 extra. A portion of the proceeds is donated back to KES and KMS. We hope to see you there!

PTO meeting cancelled

The PTO meeting that was scheduled for tomorrow, Jan. 8 has been cancelled. The next meeting will be Thursday, February 12 @ 3:45 in the elementary cafeteria.
