· March 30th 31st and April 1st Census workers will be canvassing homeless shelters, weekly rental motels, campgrounds, daytime shelters/drop-in centers and areas where our unsheltered homeless population are living in Taney and Stone Counties to help people fill out the 2010 Census forms and “Be Counted!”

· If residents of Taney and Stone Counties have not received their 2010 Census Form by April 12th, 2010 they need to call 1-866-872-6868 to have a form mailed directly to their home address.

· “Be Counted” sites will be opening throughout Taney and Stone Counties and residents will be directed to stop at one of these locations to pick up a form if they have not received a census form. These locations will be announced by April 1st, 2010.

We should begin to see a significant increase in our percentage rates by the end of this week. Many of the forms that were mailed out in our area are being received at processing centers and the information is being tabulated.
